Black metal body. Yellow 'EE' markings. Metal focus ring. This is the original Konica design, which is a stop slower than the later, Tokina made redesign. The specific lens used in this test was manufactured in July of 1973 (code: 3K).

Hotspot Performance
Slightly sharper than the compact f/2.8 version, it also has slightly less hotspot, but it's a lot bigger, a stop slower and takes considerably larger filters. This lens suffers from internal reflections when using external filters (see samples below), so internal filters are recommended if the option is available.
