Black metal body. Green 'AE' markings. Plastic focus grip. This Hexar is one of three budget versions of the Hexanon's that were made by a third party. The specific lens used in this test was manufactured in May of 1977 (code: 7S).

Infrared Performance Notes
The score only starts to dip at f/8 here, but it doesn't continue to drop like most lenses, so it's slightly better for IR than the score might suggest. It does slightly better than the Hexanon version is my test stopped down. Although I should point out that the Hexanon 28/3.5 that I have is the latest version (based on this optical design), that replaced this lens and not the original version that was made by Konica themselves.
