Infrared Performance Notes
This is probably the best IR performance that I have seen thus far from a 50mm lens, making it tied with the Sony/Zeiss FE 55mm f/1.8. This Nikkor is not as sharp as the Zeiss, especially wide open, nor does it hand flare nearly as well, but it's not bad at all.
