Oddly this lens displayed better results in the stress test compared to real-world, so here's both example from the lens. I even get odd flares on this lens when shooting colour, so I'm wondering if there is something fundamentally wrong with it.
These results aren't one of the worst that I have seen, but it is the most strange. The points of light look like diffraction (thanks to Julia Pierce for the link). Since there is a noticeable hotspot even at the widest aperture there is little point using this lens for infrared photography.
