The budget Sony FE 50mm lens took a while to come out and it's not as cheap as others, but it's ok. The focus was initially really slow, but on newer cameras and/or with a firmware update it's not quite so bad.

Performance
Unfortunately I owned this lens before I tested lenses accurately. Based on the look of this early test that I made I would estimate the performance at f/8 to be around 8/10. I testes this lens in the wild at either ends of the day to see if this had an effect - it did not.
